We certainly are proposing to bring back the Meyers 200D! We are currently assembling a team of highly qualified engineers and have already been in talks with our MIDO and ACO. It is an exciting time for us. Stay tuned for more announcements!

To that point, we would love to hear from the current operators on things that they would like to see changed or improved on the New Meyers, while still maintaining the legacy of the airframe. Please share your suggestions with us!

I would suggest revisiting the design of the main door and the cargo door. The main door hinge is not robust enough and the latching mechanism on the cargo door looks/functions like an afterthought. Both are weak points on an otherwise excellent aircraft. While not a problem like the previously mentioned issues, the seats should have better range given humans are a bit taller (and rounder) than they were in the 60's. -CD

Thanks for the input about the doors and hinge assy we will add them to the list for review. The seat we have already discussed and it looks to be an easy fix with modern technology along with an opportunity save quite a bit of weight. Keeps the suggestions coming. We will continue to post progress as we move forward.
