How We Collect Your Personal information
When you visit our Site, we collect the following types of personal information in order to provide you with use of and access to our Site and to help us personalize and improve your experience:
Information you provide to us: We may collect personal information, such as your name, address, phone, email and other similar information that you enter directly onto or in connection with our Site. Generally, personal information is requested when: (i) Global Parts customers register to use the customer portal area of our Site and (ii) when visitors to our Site request certain information about Meyers Aircraft. products and services. If you fail to provide the requested personal information, you may not be able to access all or portions of the Site or purchase products and services.
Other methods of collection: We may also collect information from or about you in other ways, such as through your contact with our customer support team, your results when you respond to a survey, and your interactions with members of the corporate family or other companies within Global Parts.
How we use Personal Information
Usage and disclosure of Personal Information varies based on a party’s relationship with Meyers Aircraft. Global Parts primarily uses this information to provide the Services and related features you are needing:
- Facilitate the processing of payment transactions
- Respond to requests and inquiries
- Provide support services

How We Share Personal information with Third Parties
Global Parts Inc. partners with and occasionally hires other companies to provide services on its behalf. Personal information may be shared with these companies; however, we will only share your personal information to accomplish the purposes for which we collected the personal information. These third parties are contractually required to maintain the confidentiality of your personal information and are contractually prohibited from using that information for any other purpose.
We may also share your information as follows:
- with your consent;
- when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or property;
- to protect your safety or the safety of others;
- to investigate fraud or respond to a government, judicial or other legal request;
- With Global Parts Inc. group entities; and to comply with the law.
How we Protect and Store Personal information
We work to protect the security of your personal information. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to try to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. For example, we store the personal information you provide on computer servers with limited access that are located in controlled facilities, but will not store any payment options you have given.
Notice to European Users
The Data Protection Act puts obligations on users of Personal Information and sets forth principles for its use. One principle states that information must be processed fairly and lawfully. The Data Protection Act does not generally apply to data about limited companies or partnerships, but it does cover personal data relating to sole traders and partnerships. When we receive an application from a business, we may perform a search with a credit reference agency and fraud prevention agency on the individual company directors or partners.
Personal Information may be processed and stored by Meyers Aircraft. or its affiliates, service providers or agents located in the United States. By providing Personal Information directly to Meyers Aircraft. or to its customers, you consent to the transfer of such information outside of the European Union and to its storage and use as described herein.
Terms of Service
This website is dedicated to aircraft, aviation repair, and flying, an activity which is inherently dangerous. You should not depend on information gleaned from this site for your personal safety. Your safety depends upon your own judgment based on competent instruction, experience and a realistic assessment of ability.
THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, THAT THE INFORMATION ON THIS WEBSITE IS ACCURATE AND/OR RELIABLE. YOUR USE OF THIS SITE INDICATES YOUR ASSUMPTION OF THAT RISK OF DEATH OR SERIOUS INJURY AND IS AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF YOUR OWN SOLE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR SAFETY.
The following terms and conditions are in reference to the Meyers Movement web site and discussion board (www.meyersmovement.com), herein referred to as “Meyers Movement Forum.” These terms and conditions apply to all sites, services, and resources within the Meyers Movement Forum.
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
Meyers Movement Forum provides its service to you, subject to the following Terms of Service (referred to as “TOS”), which may be updated by us from time to time without notice. In addition, when using particular Meyers Movement Forum services, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services.
2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
Meyers Movement Forum provides users with access to informational resources including communication and interactive resources pertaining to Meyers aircraft. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL THE MEYERS MOVEMENT FORUM BE LIABLE TO ANY USER ON ACCOUNT OF THAT USERS USE OR MISUSE OF THE SITE OR RELIANCE ON THE SITE. SUCH LIMITATION OF LIABILITY SHALL APPLY TO PREVENT RECOVERY OF DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE AND EXEMPLARY DAMAGES (EVEN IF THE MEYERS MOVEMENT FORUM HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES). SUCH LIMITATION OF LIABILITY SHALL APPLY WHETHER THE DAMAGES ARISE FROM USE OR MISUSE OF THE SITE OR RELIANCE ON THE SITE, FROM INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, OR FROM THE INTERRUPTION, SUSPENSION, OR TERMINATION OF THE SITE OR SERVICES OFFERED ON THE SITE (INCLUDING SUCH DAMAGES INCURRED BY THIRD PARTIES).
SUCH LIMITATION SHALL ALSO APPLY WITH RESPECT TO DAMAGES INCURRED BY REASON OF OTHER SERVICES OR GOODS RECEIVED THROUGH OR ADVERTISED ON THE SITE OR RECEIVED THROUGH ANY LINKS PROVIDED ON THE SITE. SUCH LIMITATION SHALL APPLY, WITHOUT LIMITATION, TO THE COSTS OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS OR SERVICES, LOST PROFITS, OR LOST DATA. THESE LIMITATIONS SHALL APPLY NOTWITHSTANDING ANY FAILURE OF ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF ANY LIMITED REMEDY. THE MEYERS MOVEMENT FORUM MAKES NO WARRANTIES AS TO THE ACCURACY OF ITS INFORMATION AND DUE TO THE VOLATILE NATURE OF THE INFORMATION CONTAINED WITHIN THE MEYERS MOVEMENT FORUM, THE MEYERS MOVEMENT FORUM CANNOT SCREEN OR AUTHENTICATE ARTICLES, POSTS, LISTINGS OR OTHER INFORMATION.
3. TERMS OF MEMBERSHIP & USAGE RESTRICTIONS
a) Membership is generally available to any person at least 13 years old who registers and accurately provides all the required information, provides a legitimate electronic mail address and obtains a unique Meyers Movement Forum member name and password; however, the Meyers Movement Forum reserves the right to deny membership to any person, for any reason, with or without cause. Membership is non-transferable. The use of web-based email accounts may be denied due to abuse.
b) All membership information must be accurate and belong to the person registering. Invalid, incomplete, or falsified information can result in: the immediate termination of all membership privileges for that user; the user being permanently banned; and/or restricting the user from using any of the Meyers Movement Forum’s (or any affiliated website) services at any time.
c) Usage of this site is restricted to persons at least 13 years old. Any person at least 13 years old, but still a minor, may only use this site in conjunction with a parent or guardian.
d) The Meyers Movement Forum is not responsible for the content of any members posts, and the views expressed on the Meyers Movement Forum are the responsibility of the posting member and not the Meyers Movement Forum. The Meyers Movement Forum does not preview member posts before they appear on the site. Any link posted to a third-party internet address does not imply an endorsement of that site or its content by Meyers Movement Forum.
e) The Meyers Movement Forums are for the discussion of Meyers and Meyers related topics. While the administrators and moderators of the Meyers Movement Forum will attempt to keep all off-topic messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and the owners, administrators, and moderators of the Meyers Movement Forum will not be held responsible for the content of any message.
f) The Meyers Movement Forum forums may contain profanity.
g) As a condition of buying and selling items listed in any forum of the Meyers Movement Forum, Buyer and Seller agree that the Meyers Movement Forum is not brokering or otherwise participating in any purchase or sale. The Meyers Movement Forum has no knowledge of the terms of sale, the condition of any items offered for sale, the accuracy of any aspect of the sale or the use to which any item shall be put. Buyer assumes all responsibility for proper use of any item so purchased. Buyer acknowledges that improper use of some or all of the items offered for sale on the Meyers Movement Forum may cause serious injury or death. Buyer shall seek qualified assistance and instruction in the use of all items purchased. Users may not post links to any off-site “for-sale” items or any auctions.
h) Pornography of any type is not allowed.
i) The owners, administrators, and moderators of the Meyers Movement Forum reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason, and the right to suspend or delete any user account for any reason, with or without cause.
j) Membership on the Meyers Movement Forum is a privilege, not a right. We reserve the right to deny service to any person, at any time, for any reason, with or without cause.
4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
It is the policy of the Meyers Movement Forum to respond expeditiously to claims of intellectual property infringement. The Meyers Movement Forum will promptly process and investigate notices of alleged infringement and will take appropriate actions under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”). Should a violation of intellectual property be discovered, the document(s) or messages in such violation will be removed in a timely manner after any and all investigating has been completed to prove the authenticity of such a claim.
5. PUBLIC CONTENT ON THE MEYERS MOVEMENT FORUM
ANY AND ALL CONTENT POSTED FOR INCLUSION IN PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE AREAS OF THE MEYERS MOVEMENT FORUM ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CREATOR. THE MEYERS MOVEMENT FORUM MAKES NO CLAIMS OR WARRANTIES ABOUT SUCH INFORMATION OR ITS AUTHENTICITY. UPON POSTING ANY CONTENT ON THE MEYERS MOVEMENT FORUM, YOU GRANT THE MEYERS MOVEMENT FORUM THE NON-EXCLUSIVE RIGHT TO PUBLISH, MODIFY AND USE SUCH CONTENT SOLELY FOR THE PURPOSE OF DISPLAYING SUCH CONTENT.
6. DISABLING ACCOUNTS
Upon written request, the Meyers Movement Forum will disable your account. In an effort to safeguard user’s accounts, we may require validation of the request to disable the account. For accounts with no posts, the account can be completely deleted from the system. For accounts with posts, the Meyers Movement Forum will disable the account; however, the Meyers Movement Forum, in its sole and absolute discretion, may choose to not remove posts attributed to the account. The Meyers Movement Forum will evaluate each request to remove posts on an individual basis. As a way of description and not of limitation, some of the factors used in evaluating whether to remove a user’s posts are: the number of posts, the length of any posts, the potential impact on the forum and/or thread continuity, the age of posts, the age of the account, etc. Generally, a user is banned as a result of a request to disable. Upon request, the Meyers Movement Forum may, at its sole and absolute discretion, reinstate a previously disabled account. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in this paragraph, the Meyers Movement Forum reserves the right to retain information about disabled accounts, which may include user information, in an effort to curb and/or combat illicit activity and to aid in civil and criminal legal matters.
7. THE ROLE OF MODERATORS
Moderators are an important part of the Meyers Movement Forum. Moderators are established members who have exhibited a knowledge and adherence to the forum rules and attempt to keep the Meyers Movement Forum civil and spam free. However, Moderators do not work for or represent the Meyers Movement Forum, or its parent company. Moderators words and actions are their own. Any concerns over Moderator action, or inaction, should be reported to a Meyers Movement Forum administrator.
8. LIMITATION OF RE-USE
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit, for any purpose whatsoever, whether commercial or non-commercial, any portion of the services or content contained within the Meyers Movement Forum and/or its subsidiary sites. In order to use any content, graphical art, photos or files owned by or published by the Meyers Movement Forum, express written authorization must be obtained from the Meyers Movement Forum.
9. LEGAL RESTRICTIONS
THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED AND CONTROLLED BY THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF VIRGINIA, WITHOUT REGARD TO ITS CONFLICT OF LAW PROVISIONS. ANY DISPUTE ARISING HEREUNDER WILL BE GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF VIRGINIA. EACH MEMBER AND/OR USER EXPRESSLY AGREES TO PERSONAL JURISDICTION IN AND TO THE COURTS OF THE STATE OF VIRGINIA.
The Meyers Movement Forum reserves the right to change, modify or update this TOS agreement at any time without notification. Membership in and the use of resources contained within the Meyers Movement Forum constitutes full agreement and acknowledgement of the restrictions, limitations and terms set forth in this agreement.
The following is a list of basic guidelines about what is and is not allowed while posting on the Meyers Movement Forum. Please read through all of these sections before using our site and contact us if you have questions.
- Users shall treat each other with respect at all times on the Meyers Movement Forum. Name calling, personal attacks, or other inappropriate behavior will not be allowed and may cause your account to be banned.
- You may not post advertisements on our site. Members who try to sell products and/or services will have their accounts revoked.
- No pornographic material (or material remotely close to pornography) or links to pornographic material may be posted on this site.
- Profanity shall be kept to a minimum.
- You may only post material and content that you own. Posting copyrighted material, trademarks, and other violations of the DMCA is prohibited.

The owners of the Meyers Movement Forum place a high priority on the readability of the site. Therefore we have placed some restrictions on the size of a member’s signature. The maximum size of your custom image is 500 by 100 pixels or 2.0 KB. This is to ensure that when a member or guest is looking through posts, large signatures and images within the signature do not interrupt their ability to follow the thread and its contents.
